Today was the final introductory lecture with the start of the third paper that I am taking. It is a paper looking at the scholarly approach and various theories involved in architecture. Designing ability and drawing skills are not necessary in this paper and it appears to have the promise of maybe perhaps being an outside chance of being quite interesting. It requires full brain functioning and a lot of thinking, but I think this is a good thing. Getting that mental flow is essential, and it provides a contrast to the other papers I am taking. For one thing, the other papers require brain and hand co-ordination, which can become tricky after extended periods. In this theoretical paper, the brain only has to co-ordinate itself and therefore I reckon there is a greater chance of success.
