One week down and two out of three of the papers seem to be interesting. One of them is the history of Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance architecture, and the other is structures involving lots of numerical calculations of forces and other stuff, so there is a bit of variety.
I'm still looking for work. I've missed out on a couple of jobs, so its been rather frustrating. Its always harder in down here as experience in the exact job you are applying for has more value than education and intelligence. I saw in some statistics yesterday that in this country less than a third of adults have tertiary qualifications. Over a quarter of the adult population have no formal qualifications! A nation of idiots just getting more stupid?
