New Zealand newspapers are rubbish

This was in the NZ Herald this morning in an article about Telecom ...
"...he has strongly signalled that the status quo is not an option. That's because broadband, a fancy term for fast internet, is no longer a topic for geek magazines or newspapers' tech pages - it's gone mainstream."

The NZ media has always been slow on the uptake and really just panders to the lower levels, and this is just another example. 
Meanwhile, the rest of the world keeps moving ahead.
And I'll go back to my 'real fast colour screen thingy that has lots of cool buttons!'
